1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Forks in Common (the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your region). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. License & Acceptable Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse the Services, including attempting to access them by automated means or interfering with their operation.

4. Subscriptions, Purchases & Billing

• App Store & Play Store Billing: Purchases and subscriptions made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store are billed and managed directly by those platforms. We do not collect or store your payment information.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the price shown at the time of purchase.
• Managing Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings.
• Refunds: All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. Refunds for purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store are processed solely by those platforms under their respective policies.

5. Content & Ownership

You retain rights to the content you input (e.g., pantry items, preferences). You grant us a limited license to process that content to provide the Services. All intellectual property in the Services, including logos, design, and software, is owned by us or our licensors.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

7. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not provide medical or nutritional advice; consult a qualified professional for dietary needs or restrictions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data, profits, or revenues arising from your use of the Services.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or for legal reasons.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws provisions. Venue and jurisdiction lie in British Columbia courts. If you reside outside Canada, you may also have rights under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
